Voodie: Can I Drink It?

Overview

This was a very quick and simple project designed as a gauge of consumer appetite for the Voodie product range, which is the natural successor to a multitude of other services focused on vegetarians and vegans.

Description

Some people are surprised to hear that not all alocholic drinks are suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Level Studios Design and Barnivore teamed up to deliver Voodie: Can I Drink It?, which claims to be able to identify whether a drink is vegan or vegetarian by searching through a database of around 50,000 drink items compiled by Barnivore.

Involvement

James Does Digital only became involved at a relatively late stage of the project, helping to finish the main search feature and some basic user interface components of what was ultimately a very simple project.

Having received approval for the project from Apple, the Voodie team were convinced to move forward with the larger scale, more widely scoped version which is expected to launch in 2022.
